Shapeways Gives Me The Volvo That Got Away
Many years ago I owned a Volvo 240DL wagon. It was a great car. Eventually, the expected costs of running it caught up with it, and I ended up trading it in for a newer one. When I discovered a model of the car on Shapeways, I had to have one.

Adding a Crossover to CP LOUCKS
I’ve had a chance to run the layout through a number of scenarios, and I realized that I did actually need the crossover I had debated putting in coming out of CP LOUCKS at the north end of Windsor St Yard.

Windsor St Layout Operations Documents
Now that I have things more or less running on the layout, I can start thinking about operations. These are a few documents I’ve created to help get things started, and to make it easy for visiting operators to understand what’s going on with their jobs and the layout. They also make nice souvenirs.
Trains now run around all of the Windsor Street Yard Layout
This day was a long time in coming, but thanks to the help of my friends, it happened. Trains now can run around the entire layout. I made a Youtube video to document the event.
N Scale Conrail GP9 7182
Conrail inherited a large number of early GPs from its predecessors. 7182 is a GP that is an ex-Penn Central unit that hasn’t been given its coat of blue yet.
