Thanks to my friend Dave I finally got my backdrops mounted for the Windsor St crossing area. Again, it’s amazing what a deadline will do!
I decided to shoot some overview photos of all the progress I’ve been making ahead of my open house. Here’s the layout as it sat at the end of May 2018.
I recently reached a significant milestone on the Windsor St Layout: no more naked foam in York. I took a series of “walk around” photos to commemorate the occasion.
I’ve been winding down construction on the Windsor Street layout because there’s just not that much left to do. One of the finishing touches is to paint the fascia.
Progress in York is continuing. Today it took the form of the area around York tower.
I’ve been spending a lot of time working on downtown York, which believe me, EATS time. However, I took a few minutes to finish ballasting Black Bridge. Here are a pair of photos.
I was honored to be asked to be asked to present on my NCR layout at the 2017 NMRA Mid-Eastern Region Susquehannock convention. This post includes the download of the presentation and some additional materials that I included and couldn’t include in the clinic.
The traveling Railwire B60b Express Car visited the NCR. Let’s see what happened…
I’m still intimidated by York itself (and its multiple square feet of structures and hardscape), but I’ve made progress nonetheless.
