Trainworx Flat UPS Pup Trailers on a BLMA Flat
I was going through some of my photos and came across this one. I had taken it right after getting a pair of Trainworx pup trailers. I posed them on the NCR Shelf.

Modelers, for years, have been looking for ways to replicate common every day things. Trees make up such a large part of the landscape that they are a frequent topic of discussion whenever the topic of scenery comes up.
For years the ubiquitous 50′ exterior post Railbox car was missing from the N scale market. Microtrains and Model Die Casting had made them years ago, but up until about a year ago, finding them was hit or miss. Then Athearn bought MDC and started re-releasing their “Berwick” box cars. One of their first roadnames […]
A quick photo from April 0f 2007.
I’ve took a few more photos of the Apartment Door Layout and wanted to share.
Conrail only owned 6 “normal” C30-7s, so 6602 is a bit of an oddball compared to the 50 C30-7As that far outnumbered them on the roster. However, in N scale, we don’t have C30-7As available, but way back in 1994 Kato released the C30s in 2 numbers. A few months back I came across one […]
The U23B was General Electric’s equivalent to EMD’s wildly successful GP38. It was a 2300HP road switcher that was aimed at both road and local service. Conrail inherited a number of U23Bs from Penn Central and the Lehigh Valley. They served in duties as intended for a number of years, but were slowly being phased […]
I admit it, I’m a sucker for GP30s. There’s something about the purposeful “bulldog” look to them that I find appealing. Also, they were common secondary power during the early years of Conrail. I already have one, but when Atlas came out with a new run of them a few years ago, and they went […]
1913 is an almost stock Atlas B23-7. Conrail’s beaten 23s mostly worked in New York and New England, however, they did occasionally venture south, and so I wanted a model of one.
Conrail 7883 is an almost stock Atlas GP38.
