As I started planning my other layout project, an operations oriented affair patterned after Conrail’s operations in the Canton area of Baltimore, I realized that there was another itch that wasn’t scratched: mainline operations. I came up with a plan to address that.

The fall Great Scale Show was over the weekend of October 13th & 14th, and Max Magliaro came from Pennsylvania for the show and a photo session.
I made up two batches of trees and finished the ground cover on the remaining unfinished portion of the layout. This, of course, warranted photos.
