Years ago I picked up one of the Atlas NE6 cabooses when they first came out. I did some work on it, but realized I wasn’t happy with what I had done. That car got retired and replaced by a newer model, purchased at a recent train show.
Instead of going all out and replicating the later Conrail modifications to the car (specifically, the plating over of windows), I kept it simple on this model.
My work on this car consisted of removing the roof walk, painting, and weathering the car. Also, as on most of my equipment, I removed the couple trip pins.
