I’ve been winding down construction on the Windsor Street layout because there’s just not that much left to do. One of the finishing touches is to paint the fascia.

A while ago I got a deal on a gallon of what I thought was black paint. It turns out it’s very dark purple but under typical layout lighting looks just fine.

I’ve used it for the majority of the layout this far and felt no need to change course.

A few minutes with a the brush and things immediately looked a lot more presentable.
