Roster shot of my Conrail SD35 6032

Conrail’s SD35 were mostly retired by 1985. A few survived being pressed into service during traffic surges, but their dilapidated condition shows that their time was running out.

6035 started as an un-numbered Atlas SD35 which I modified to represent another ex-CNJ locomotive.

Work done included moving the three chime horns to the side and adding a single chime to facing rearward on the engineer’s side of the cab. I also removed the footboards added a cab signal box and radio antenna and heavily weathered it.

6032 has a leaking battery box and at one point had a serious oil leak, as evidenced by the streaks on the sides.
